INVITED PHOTOGRAPHER
#3
Born 1954 in Paris, France.
Lives in Paris, works mainly in silver.
An architect by training, I have always considered photography as a wonderful understanding of the “social” and “political” tool. Very inspired by a humanist photography, Willy Ronis, Eliott Erwitt, not really looking for aesthetics, I soon felt that photography was also a poetic medium of excellence leading us, naturally, to question ourselves. There is a sentence that summarizes this approach:
“Basically” what happened next? “- That is the only purpose of life or history. ”
– Jack Kerouac (On the road)
